Editor for the Tomball/Magnolia edition of Community Impact Newspaper.
Cedarville University, Cedars and National Journalism Center alum. I report on the suburban Texas communities of Tomball and Magnolia in the Greater Houston area. At Community Impact, we report on local government, education, transportation projects, local businesses, real estate and more.
I graduated from Cedarville University with a bachelor's degree in journalism and minors in Bible and business administration in May 2016. During the 2015-16 academic year, I served as editor-in-chief of the monthly student news publication, Cedars, where I managed freelance writers and photographers and an editorial staff of eight. I also spent time reporting from the District of Columbia in 2015, during which time I interviewed congressmen. My resume includes writing for RealClearReligion.org, the Springfield News-Sun, devozine and the Xenia Daily Gazette. Additionally, I have experience with video (see wedding video below), audio, and page design. I dabble in all things journalism, I love coffee and I crave adventure. |
